Quick Start
New to checkers? Here's the essence in three steps.
Regular pieces move one square diagonally forward. Drag a piece to an open dark square to advance your position on the board.
Jump over an adjacent enemy piece to capture it. If another jump is available after a capture, you must take it — chain jumps are mandatory.
Reach the far end of the board and your piece becomes a king. Kings can move and capture both forward and backward, giving you a powerful strategic advantage.
